Head of Year (Teaching)

Head of Year King Harold Academy (KHA) has a clear, ambitious vision: to be one of the kindest, hardest-working, and highest-achieving schools in the UK.

Role

As Head of Year and a member of our Pastoral Leadership Team, you will be responsible for the progress, behaviour, and pastoral well being of a year group. You will lead a dedicated team of tutors and a non teaching pastoral leader, and have a profound impact on behaviour standards, attendance, and student outcomes across your year group.

Interview Process

Interviews will take place on Monday 29th June 2026. King Harold Academy is committed to the protection and safety of its students. The successful candidate will be subject to DBS, Barred List, and two reference checks as part of the School's Safeguarding Procedures. The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
