As Head of Waste & Circularity, you will lead the strategy, innovation and execution of their waste management and circularity agenda, accelerating our journey toward a closed-loop economy.

Responsibilities

• Lead vendor selection, RFPs and contract management, ensuring compliance, transparency and cost efficiency.
• Drive end-to-end waste visibility, carbon reporting and data governance excellence.
• Develop and execute the UK & IE Circularity Programme, aligning cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Design scalable recycling and reverse logistics systems that maximise resource recovery and waste value.
• Provide expert insight on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and evolving UK & Ireland legislation.
• Establish KPIs, performance standards and reporting frameworks to optimise service, cost and sustainability impact.

This is a pivotal leadership role with enterprise-wide impact. You will build and inspire a high-performing function, influence senior stakeholders, and embed circular thinking into operations and customer solutions.

Requirements

They are seeking a commercially astute sustainability leader who:

• Has significant experience in waste management, sustainability or circularity within FMCG, retail or food supply chains.
• Has led complex, cross-functional change programmes with measurable results.
• Combines strong analytical capability with strategic vision and operational delivery.
• Understands waste valuation, recycling systems, EPR legislation and data governance.
• Is an exceptional communicator, relationship-builder and negotiator.
