Penguin Recruitment are proud to be representing a specialist Building Services and Design Consultancy who are currently looking for a dedicated Head of Sustainability to join their growing team in Manchester.

Duties for Head of Sustainability:

• Maintain and develop strong existing client relationships
• Support the growth of new services and client marketing initiatives
• Lead all aspects of project delivery within the sustainability service area
• Procure and manage specialist external sub-consultants

Requirements of the Candidate:

• A degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a built environment discipline
• Experience within sustainability consultancy in the built environment
• Strong project leadership skills and the ability to positively represent the business within design teams
• Proven client-facing capabilities across multiple project stages
• Understanding of financial and resource management
• Knowledge of dynamic simulation software, mechanical design principles, sustainability rating systems, planning considerations, operational energy assessments, and life cycle assessments (highly desirable)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including high-quality report writing
