We are a Good School (Ofsted 2022) and we recognise that every student has their own individual strengths, gifts and talents; our aim is to ensure that these are all nurtured and developed to their full potential. John Port Spencer Academy is part of the Spencer Academies family of schools. We have a large campus style site set around a lake in a semi-rural location, with good transport links from the A50, A38, M1 and M6.

The Role

We are looking to recruit a full-time Head of French to join our successful and dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to engage and motivate students at KS3 and KS4. We are a large Academy and the opportunity to teach KS5 could be available in the future. If you are passionate about your subject and have the desire to inspire all students to reach their full potential, we would be pleased to hear from you. The ability to teach a second language (Spanish) is desirable but not essential. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly committed, supportive faculty. Please get in touch if you would like to organise a visit to the school:
