This role is part of our dynamic Staff Department, which combines the Project Office - responsible for Portfolio Governance, Project Management Standards, Central Reporting, and managing Strategic Initiatives - with the Board Office, providing dedicated executive support to the CEO and Executive Board. Together, this Team drives strategy definition, ensures successful execution, and fosters effective leadership routines across the organization.
Your Key Responsibilities as Head of Strategic Initiatives & Portfolio Management (f/m/d):
Portfolio Management & Project Excellence: Take ownership of Portfolio Governance, including project intake, prioritization, Q-gates, and Capacity Management, while ensuring transparent, high-quality reporting for all Strategic Initiatives. Define and continuously refine Company-wide Project Management Standards.
Strategic Special Projects: Lead in-depth market, competitive, and performance analyses to inform critical business decisions. Develop robust Business Cases and actionable recommendations for Strategic and Operational topics, such as Pricing Strategies for new Products. Design and implement innovative Concepts to enhance Organizational efficiency and drive lasting improvements.
Strategy & Executive Leadership: Facilitate executive Workshops and actively contribute to the Strategic Roadmap Process. Define, track, and support the execution of Strategic Initiatives, ensuring effective Leadership routines and alignment across the Organization.
Team Leadership & Reporting: Take on disciplinary responsibility and lead a dynamic Team of three Project Managers to drive impactful results, while fostering their professional growth. Report directly to our Chief of Staff, ensuring seamless communication and alignment between your Team and Executive Leadership.
Personal Development: You'll receive direct support from your People Manager, ensuring your growth and success

7-10 years of experience in Strategy, PMO, Program Management, or Consulting, with a proven track record in shaping and governing complex Portfolios and consistently delivering high-impact Projects
Demonstrated Leadership in managing and inspiring Project Teams, with the ability to align Stakeholders and executives around Strategic Priorities
Strong strategic and analytical skills, including Market, Competitive, and Performance Analysis, Business Case development, and facilitation of Workshops that drive decision-making and transformation
Excellent communication and influencing skills, capable of navigating complex Organizational Structures and building consensus at all levels
Fluent English; German skills are a plus
Experience in SaaS, E-Commerce, or fast-paced technology environments is highly desirable
