This fast-growing, purpose-led B2B media and events company is seeking a commercially driven Head of Sponsorship & Exhibition Sales to spearhead the launch of a major new luxury travel trade show set to debut in 2026. Known for creating influential content, impactful events, and building meaningful industry connections, this organisation stands apart for its values-led approach. A Head of Sponsorship & Exhibition Sales, you'll be joining a small but ambitious team with a track record of innovation and excellence in the travel sector - and the opportunity to shape a high-profile event that will redefine how luxury travel professionals connect.
The RoleDue to upcoming launch of this new event, this organisation is looking for a Head of Sponsorship & Exhibition Sales to lead on all commercial activity related to the event.
As Head of Sponsorship & Exhibition Sales, this role will report into the Managing Director and will collaborate closely with broader internal departments. Responsibilities will include:
- Sell sponsorship and appointment packages to global luxury travel suppliers
- Proactively unearthing new business opportunities
- Developing existing industry relationships to encourage retention and a strong, active pipeline
- Creating and pitching event proposals
- Monitoring competitors and market trends
- Using Salesforce to monitor sales performance, prepare reports and forecast revenue
- Attending sales meetings and key industry events internationally
Candidates should ideally be working in a conference organiser, exhibition organiser or B2B media & events company in a similar position. A successful Head of Sponsorship & Exhibition Sales candidate will have a proven track record in proactive lead generation and business development as well as strategic mindset towards retention and relationship management. Candidates must come with experience within and solid knowledge of the travel sector. We are ideally seeking experience in SalesForce for report generation.
