Job Description
The Head of Reporting role will see you overseeing financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance. You'll play a key part in supporting the business by delivering timely insights and maintaining strong financial controls

A leading Midlands manufacturing business.
Description
- Lead the preparation and delivery of accurate financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Overseeing the preparation of statutory accounts across the Group, including both audited and non-audited entities.
- Drafting high-quality papers for the Audit Committee.
- Acting as the owner of the Group reporting and consolidation systems, defining requirements, scoping improvements and ensuring robust data consolidation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Develop and maintain financial reporting processes and controls.
- Provide insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with other departments to align financial reporting with business objectives.
- Manage and mentor the reporting team to achieve high performance.
- Driving improvements to reporting processes, strengthening controls and embedding disciplined reporting rhythms to consistently meet demanding deadlines.
- Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies to improve efficiency.
Profile
- A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting and accounting standards within a large, complex organisation
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality reporting against challenging deadlines
- Experience with financial reporting and consolidation systems, including ownership of system improvements and data consolidation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Confidence engaging with executive-level stakeholders, presenting financial information and influencing decision-making.
Job Offer
- Salary ranging from £75,000- £85,000, plus benefits inc car allowance
