Job Description

HCB Widdows Mason is excited to announce an opportunity for a strategic and talented Head of Property to lead our Bristol Property Team. This key position requires an individual with a robust background in property law, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a passion for developing client relationships and driving business growth.

Key responsibilities
  • Heading the property team in Bristol, managing and mentoring.
  • Overseeing a diverse workload encompassing residential property transactions and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders.
  • Driving the growth and development of the property practice through effective business development strategies.
  • Providing expert legal advice and support to clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency within the department.
  • Managing departmental budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation.
  • Staying updated with market trends and maintaining a proactive approach to evolving legal issues in property law.
Qualifications
  • Qualified solicitor with significant experience in property law, preferably at a senior level.
  • Proven track record in managing a successful property team or department.
  • Excellent leadership, management, and mentorship skills.
  • Strong business development acumen and client relationship management experience.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle complex legal issues with a client-focused approach.
  • Keen understanding of residential and commercial property markets.
  • Proficiency in case management systems and relevant legal software.
