HEAD OF PROCUREMENT- GLOBAL CONSTRUCTION MAJOR (TIER 1)

Overview

Bramwith Consulting is seeking a Head of Procurement for Global Construction (Tier 1) in London. The role reports to the CPO and forms part of the Senior Leadership team to transform and deliver Procurement's vision, strategy and operating model. It involves managing a multi-billion spend, delivering multi-million savings, and upskilling a team. The base location is flexible, with travel to stakeholders and suppliers as required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement key category strategies for Construction Infrastructure procurement projects that are multi-million in value.
• Build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with market-leading Tier 1 construction suppliers.
• Manage, mentor and coach experienced Construction Sourcing & Procurement professionals to support their development within the function.
• Engage in winning key new business for the organization with regular interaction with the CEO.

Qualifications and experience

• Experience managing UK-based teams.
• Procurement subject matter expertise across Construction Infrastructure, including NEC3 and JCT contracts.
• Excellent stakeholder management with regular board-level interaction.
• Proven ability to manage multi-million procurement spends and achieve substantial cost savings.
• Degree; MCIPS and Prince II (preferred but not essential).

Location, compensation & travel

London-based role with a package including base salary circa £100,000, car, bonus and additional package elements. Willingness to travel to stakeholders and suppliers as required.
