Client: Major Energy organisation

Duration: 12 months

Location: Hybrid and Central Belt, Scotland

A Head of Procurement for a major Energy organisation, reporting to the Director, to lead large Capital Infrastructure Projects, with £1bn spends.

This senior, hands-on leadership role will own the commercial delivery of Substations and Cabling projects, implementing robust commercial and contracting strategy, and driving Procurement activity.

This will be an end-to-end role, where you will undertake key supplier relationship management activity, work closely with stakeholders to ensure excellent outcomes, and carry out accurate forecasting and reporting.

Requirements:

• 20-30 years' Procurement, Commercial, or Quantity Surveyor experience.
• 10-15 years' experience at a senior leadership level.
• Confidence and evidence of working on large Capital infrastructure projects, with £bn spends.
• Ideally Energy or relevant industry background, e.g. Civils or Defence.
