Head of Procurement - Component Services

Join our Procurement CS team in Hoofddorp. As the Head of Procurement, you will lead the department, develop the strategic sourcing policy, set and monitor procurement goals, and manage suppliers to improve delivery, service performance, revenue, and margins for Fokker Services Group.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Procurement department and develop the strategic sourcing policy.
• Set, monitor, and achieve procurement goals.
• Select, contract, and manage suppliers.
• Improve delivery and service performance, increase revenue and margins, and reduce product and service costs.
• Allocate approximately 70 % of activity to strategy, leadership, and stakeholder management, and 30 % to hands on procurement activities.
• Ensure compliance with procurement procedures, monitor adherence to policies, and take corrective action when required.
• Conduct market analysis and identify opportunities for cost reduction and performance improvement.
• Oversee the procurement budget and align annual purchasing plans with key stakeholders and corporate objectives.
• Act as a strategic advisor to leadership on procurement matters, risks, and escalations.
• Develop, implement, and present the company's procurement policy, strategy, and processes to the Leadership Team.
• Implement robust supplier contract management and supplier relationship management.

Qualifications

• A master's or bachelor's degree (WO/HBO+).
• Solid knowledge and experience in Procurement & Supply Chain Management.
• At least 5 years of experience leading (senior) Procurement teams.
• Expertise in strategic sourcing, contract management, and procurement processes.
• Knowledge of change management and transition management.
• Availability to travel abroad.
• Preferably experience and understanding of the Aerospace MRO market.
• Full professional proficiency in Dutch and English.
