Job Description
Job Title: Senior Procurement Specialist (Interim)

A financial services business partnered with Oliver James is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to join the team on an interim basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working within regulated, global businesses, leading procurement strategy and vendor management.

The project involves conducting an end-to-end review of processes, policies, and governance related to third-party vendor management for UK and international locations. The candidate will provide guidance and recommendations for improvements to the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the procurement team.
  2. Collaborate closely with international stakeholders.
  3. Perform a cradle-to-grave review of vendor management processes.
  4. Review global policies, controls, and governance concerning third-party vendors.
  5. Provide advisory services for improvements and refinements to the business.
Desired Experience:
  • Experience in financial services and other regulated environments.
  • Experience working with large, multinational organizations.

This role is based out of a London office with a hybrid working model. It is a day-rate contract for 6-12 months, likely outside IR35, though this is unconfirmed.
