We're currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Head of Portfolio & Accountability Management (PAM).
You'll play a key part in shaping how we plan, manage and evolve our Global Technology workforce to meet business opportunities within UK Technology Finance & Workforce Management function of Group Chief Information Office (GCIO) Chief Operating Officer (COO).

In this role you will:
- Provide effective portfolio governance and oversight
- Support CIO with Business and Transformation leads to prioritise and schedule programme delivery
- Hold GCIO programme managers to account throughout the programme delivery
- Ensure active financial and benefit management
- Establish and maintain strong collaboration with 2LOD and 3LOD
- Maintain close control over the Portfolio's hierarchy and change inventory
- Adhere to Group standards (e.g. Change Framework) and work with central PAM to roll out additional standards as required
- Actively seek out opportunities for efficiencies across the portfolio
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in managing significant financial and resource plans, organisational transformation, and project portfolio management within Technology function, with a track record of driving results in complex, matrixed organisations
- Proven track record of executive leadership in technology management roles within the financial services industry, preferably within multinational banks
- Strong understanding of Technology operational management requirements for banks and knowledge of the external environment - regulatory, political, competitor and market
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and make data driven decisions to drive business outcomes
- Ability to translate technology strategy and align and manage accountabilities accordingly
- Deep financial and commercial awareness
- Ability to manage and mitigate operational risk effectively
- Ability to develop and maintain long term relationships with highly critical stakeholders internally and externally
