Job Description
With over 60 years of experience in the field of sapphire and plastic injection, we have acquired and developed a unique and complementary know-how in the production of custom parts. These skills meet the technical and aesthetic requirements of our clients. To strengthen our Plastics department, we are looking for a: Head of Plastic SectorResponsibilities:- Organize, coordinate and supervise the daily activities of production (Injection, Control, Flow, and Termination) while ensuring adherence to quality, deadlines, and productivity goals;- Guarantee close management that fosters skill development and team cohesion, while ensuring strict compliance with company standards and requirements;Key Duties:- Ensure individual and collective management of a team (time & absence management, performance, successes, recruitment, realignment, personal development, and responsibility);- Organize and distribute work within the team based on priorities, skills and available production capabilities;- Ensure compliance with production schedules and deadlines;- Ensure adherence to processing times for customers by managing the production orders of all products on their line in conjunction with scheduling;- Develop and manage the workforce planning on a daily and medium-term basis;- Participate in upstream considerations regarding equipment selection and project management for their line;- Ensure the transmission of instructions, follow-up on objectives, and technical support;- Actively relay messages and commitments from management, lead performance rituals, and ensure compliance with standards;- Monitor compliance with quality requirements (dimensions, aesthetics, finishes, etc.) and ensure adherence to procedures;- Lead corrective and preventive actions in conjunction with the ANC;- Collaborate closely with quality, logistics, maintenance, and methods departments on production problem resolution;- Ensure first-level maintenance follow-up;- Identify and escalate needs for tools or resources;- Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Lean, reduction of waste, flows, etc.);- Ensure the safety of individuals, compliance with instructions, and the proper maintenance of equipment;- Collaborate in the execution, establishment and monitoring of the System X within the basic technical department (CFC in Mechanics, Micromechanics or equivalent);Profile:- Confirmed experience in a similar position for several years in an industrial environment and experience in team supervision;- Good mastery of plastic and rubber injection processes and the mechanical constraints specific to production;- Knowledge of production tracking tools and performance indicators;- Proficiency in basic ERP and office tools (Excel, Word);- Mastery of continuous improvement tools and methods (5S, Lean, problem solving, Kaizen);- Ability to interpret plans and process flows;- Proximity leadership, sense of responsibility and rigor on the ground, and ability to manage priorities;- Ease of motivating and uniting a team;- Analytical mindset and solution-oriented;- Reactivity and adaptability in a high-quality demanding environment.We offer:- Flexible working hours (opportunity to finish at 3:30 PM from Monday to Friday);- Possibility of remote work;- Vacation: 5 weeks per year and offered;- Salary paid over 13 months with your health insurance payment;- Regular events (summer meals, monthly brunches, company outings, etc.);- Discounts with various partners (fleet discounts, private sales with prestigious brands, etc.);- Healthy, rewarding, dynamic, and ever-evolving work environment. jid9d0473aaen jit0207aen jpiy26aen
