Role Overview

• Teach Music across KS3-KS5
• Lead and develop the Music department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning
• Plan and deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons
• Organise and promote extracurricular music activities, performances, and events
• Monitor student progress and implement strategies to raise achievement
• Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment

About You

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Music at secondary level
• Previous leadership experience or readiness to step into a leadership role
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Passionate about high-quality teaching and student achievementExcellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
