The Head of Marketing plays a crucial role in understanding customer needs, staying ahead of industry trends, and turning complexity into actionable strategies. As part of the wider Revenue team, this role is instrumental in scaling Codestone to a £100m+ revenue business, supporting growth both organically and through acquisition.
A key member of the Extended Leadership Team (ELT), the Head of Marketing will drive business growth and have a broad impact across the organisation, shaping its future and long-term success. Working closely with the Chief Revenue Officer - as well as Sales, Product, and Client Success - this role requires someone who is as confident shaping strategy as they are delivering it hands-on.
It suits a commercially minded, action-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values collaboration, and is motivated by making a measurable impact.
Your day-to-day will include:

o Define and deliver the marketing strategy across all platforms and channels, aligned with business growth and revenue objectives.
o Lead performance-driven marketing initiatives, with a strong focus on pipeline generation, customer engagement, and ROI.
o Apply a data-driven, test-learn-adapt approach to continuously improve marketing effectiveness.
o Develop and maintain clear KPI reporting frameworks that allow key stakeholders to understand performance and make informed decisions.
o Manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and demonstrating return on investment.
o Work closely with the Chief Revenue Officer to ensure full alignment of marketing activity with overall commercial strategy.
o Attend ELT and QBR meetings to present progress against marketing goals, share insights, and contribute to strategic business planning.
• Brand & Content Management
o Own brand development and positioning, ensuring it reflects Codestone's evolving value proposition, culture, and ambition.
o Create and execute a robust content strategy that speaks to key audiences, supports sales conversations, and builds brand authority.
o Ensure all messaging aligns with the brand tone of voice and is consistent across all touchpoints.
o Manage the upkeep, optimisation and performance of Codestone's website, social media channels and other digital platforms.
o Ensure all digital channels support brand visibility, lead generation, and customer engagement objectives.
o Own and optimise the marketing technology stack (e.g. HubSpot and integrated tools) to enable scalable, insight-driven marketing execution.
o Work closely with Sales, Product and Client Success to ensure messaging is aligned, ICP targeting is effective, and GTM activity is cohesive.
o Translate customer and market insight into marketing strategies and tactics that drive commercial outcomes.
o Collaborate with Group functions to support internal communications, company-wide messaging, event initiatives, and compliance-related campaigns or updates.
o Build, manage, and develop an agile marketing team, setting clear goals, standards, and development plans.
o Create a high-performance culture with clear accountability and delivery focus.
o Lead by example in ensuring clear, proactive communication both internally and externally, acting as a visible ambassador for the brand and aligning teams around shared marketing and wider company OKRs.
You will bring these key competencies to the role:
o Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into action.
o Revenue-focused - understands how marketing drives pipeline and growth.
o Delivers with pace and precision, balancing quality with efficiency.
o Works well across Sales, Product, and Client Success teams.

o Leads with clarity, accountability, and a focus on team outcomes.
• Key Behaviours

o Communicates with clarity and consistency, both internally and externally.
o Collaborates naturally, building trust across functions.
o Shows pride in the Codestone brand, values, and voice.

o Proven ability to drive growth through both organic and acquisition-based strategies.
o Minimum of 3 years' experience building and leading, agile high-performing teams in hybrid settings.
o Experience marketing high-value enterprise solutions (£75k-£250k+ ACV)
o Skilled in creating and executing integrated marketing plans in fast-paced environments.
o Confident user of HubSpot (or equivalent) for automation, campaigns, and reporting.
o Strong communicator - able to craft clear, customer-focused messaging.
o Commercial and data-driven - uses insight to shape strategy and improve results.
o Exposure to marketing during M&A or integration is a plus.
