Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Head of Manufacturing Engineering to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide vision, strategic leadership, and management across Global Supply, including Program Management, Quality & Compliance, and Lean initiatives to ensure excellence in delivering strategic objectives.
- Develop and implement supply chain projects, ensure smooth integration of NPI into manufacturing, and manage capability and capacity across the organization.
- Oversee the Global Excellence in Operations budget and lead strategic global supply projects, including mergers, acquisitions, and greenfield sites.
- Review operational strategies and budgets, implement production systems, and lead improvement initiatives such as benchmarking, automation, and lean practices.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements using tools like lean, six sigma, and value stream mapping.
- Lead on operational decisions related to capital investment, strategic sourcing, hiring, outsourcing, and leasing.
Other key accountabilities include:
- Leading and managing significant supply chain projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
- Collaborating with the Strategic Business Development team to ensure smooth NPI project delivery.
- Overseeing capability and capacity planning, and addressing bottlenecks to optimize performance.
- Conducting Kaizen events, implementing visual management tools, and delivering continuous improvement roadmaps.
Skills/Experience:
- Proven success in driving manufacturing and supply chain excellence in complex environments.
- Expertise in quality, compliance, supply chain strategy, lean manufacturing, and project management.
- Experience working across multiple geographies and leading strategic projects.
- Strong communication skills in English, with a relevant engineering or technical degree or equivalent experience.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
