We are looking for a Head of Legal to lead our legal function, partner with senior stakeholders, and provide commercially focused legal advice that supports business growth. Job Title: Head of Legal Location: Leeds, Sheffield, London, Cheadle Hours of work: Mon - Fri 8:30/9:00 - 17:00/17:30 What You'll Be Doing

As a Head of Legal you will:

• Lead, manage and develop a team of solicitors and contract managers, fostering a high-performing legal function.
• Act as a trusted adviser to the Executive Team and senior leaders, providing pragmatic and commercially focused legal advice.
• Lead legal support for key customer, supplier, technology and strategic commercial agreements.
• Oversee complex contract negotiations and ensure effective legal risk management across the business.
• Support the General Counsel on corporate governance, strategic projects and Board-level matters.
• Drive continuous improvement within the legal function through streamlined processes, best practice and technology.

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) or equivalent.
• Experienced commercial lawyer with strong negotiation skills.
• Proven leader of legal teams and people.
• Trusted adviser to senior stakeholders and executives.
• Commercially astute with sound risk judgement.
• Able to simplify complex legal issues into practical solutions.
• Pragmatic, proactive and results-focused.
