Job Description
Overview

Who we're looking for: As Head of Legal, you will be responsible for leading Tillo's legal function and acting as the company's primary legal adviser. This role is the most senior legal role within Tillo. You'll oversee all legal matters across the business, from commercial contracting and product counselling to regulatory considerations and risk management. You'll also help design scalable legal processes and systems that enable the business to move quickly while managing risk appropriately. This is a senior, hands-on role that combines strategic leadership with day-to-day legal execution.

The challenge: Tillo is the global leader in digital gift cards and incentives, and we're growing rapidly across new markets and partners. As we expand internationally and deepen relationships with global brands, payments partners, and enterprise clients, legal plays a critical role in enabling innovation while ensuring we manage regulatory and commercial risk effectively. As Head of Legal, you'll help shape how we approach legal strategy, contracting, risk management, and compliance as we scale.

Where you'll work: This is a hybrid role where you would be expected to work from our Hove and/or London offices twice a week. Our Hove office is right next to the train station with direct (and quiet!) trains from/to London in just over an hour. Our London office is in the London Bridge area. The rest of the time, you can work remotely or wherever you feel most productive.
