Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00am to 2:00pm (Term Time Only)
Salary: £13.27 per hour
Contract: Permanent
Weekly Hours: 25 hours

A Head of Kitchen is required to lead the catering provision at a primary school in Daybrook. This role involves overseeing food preparation, ensuring high standards of hygiene and service, and managing a small team to deliver nutritious meals to pupils.

• Lead the preparation and serving of meals
• Manage kitchen staff and daily operations
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety standards
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
• Liaise with school staff regarding dietary requirements and service improvements

• Previous experience in a similar catering role
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Knowledge of food hygiene regulations
• Friendly and professional approach
• Must hold an Enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one
