Overview

The Revenue Growth Management (RGM) team is a strategic function which sits centrally in the Nomad business to drive long-term profitable growth: growing NS/KG, expanding the profit pool and our share of it. The role of the Revenue Growth Management team is to identify the optimum way to drive NS/KG, grow the profit pool and Nomad Food's share in it from a selection of RGM levers: being a thought-leader in what and how to do this, partnering with both the central and local Teams to drive these improvements through the business and then ensuring the delivery. RGM capability is identified as one of the priority areas for Nomad Foods to transform.

The role of the Group RGM team, to which this role leads, is to embed a RGM mindset in current ways of working throughout the organisation and enabling MU to develop RGM plans for the upcoming and in-year plans. It has responsibility for defining and landing the 'Nomad Way' of doing Revenue Growth Management ie. end-to-end Process, guiding principles and KPIs whilst also leading the RGM performance management process across the business.

Strong leadership experience in RGM or Commercial planning and execution, with expertise in RGM, Segmentation, Innovation, and Channel strategy. Deep understanding of RGM, ideally gained within an FMCG matrix organization. Solid understanding of growth/value drivers across diverse markets and business dimensions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.

Understanding of the market, trade, and competitive environment. Strong strategic and analytical skills, along with outstanding influencing abilities. Ability to transition from planning to execution and be effective landing these with commercial and brand management and a proficiency in analysing insights and developing solutions for complex business problems. A strong combination of both RGM operational and capability experience gained in CPG/FMCG or consultancy style roles.

LEAD THE RGM CENTRE OF EXPERTISE AGENDA ACROSS THE GROUP

Build best in class RGM capability programs to support the Global RGM Agenda

The team will focus on the RGM enablers to support the RGM practitioners in delivering Revenue Growth optimization plans effectively and efficiently. Specifically this role will be responsible for the developing RGM people, process and tools capability across the organisation by designing and building full organisation wide change programs to include, but not exclusive of:

  • the end-to-end RGM playbooks; Pricing, PPP, Mix, Trade Terms and Promotions
  • pilots to pressure test end-to-end RGM processes in markets to embed best practice and ways of working
  • organisation-wide RGM learning & development programmes
  • the right tools/systems (e.g. strategic frameworks, templates, plug& play models, standardized set of descriptive analytics & performance tracking reports, best practices/case studies )
  • RGM leadership team core capabilities programs
  • RGM planning & review forums

LEAD THE RGM PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT PROCESS ACROSS THE BUSINESS

Monitor, understand and course correct where needed RGM performance across the business

With the support of Commercial Finance, RGM Cluster Leads and the Commercial Analytics team lead the business through RGM performance monitoring, understanding and interventions where needed.

  • Collaborate with Cluster RGM leads on current RGM performance to align on what, why and next steps across each cluster
  • Build RGM course correction places across each cluster where required to hit plan
  • Provide extra RGM resource/capability across clusters to solve problems and resource gaps
  • Lead, build and implement cross MU RGM initiatives from the group in collaboration with the Clusters
  • Provide Exec and LC performance updates as and when needed

This is a highly visible role with a Global remit, working with senior Stakeholders including the Global Exec and Cluster leadership teams.

Develop and manage a high-performing RGM team:

Build and lead a team (4) with expertise in all RGM levers whilst providing ongoing coaching and development to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. Create a collaborative and results-oriented team environment that fosters innovation and growth.

RGM THOUGHT LEADERSHIP

Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in RGM:Continuously research and evaluate emerging trends and best practices in RGM, Identify and implement innovative RGM strategies to enhance Nomad's competitive advantage. Share knowledge and insights with the RGM team and broader organization to promote continuous learning.

LEADS ACROSS THE ORGANISATION

Builds cross-functional partnerships. collaborate and partner on priorities that contribute to the wider Nomad Foods agenda. Become key member of the Nomad RGM leadership team playing an active part in driving the Nomad RGM agenda. Builds trust and creates the conditions to enable direct and cross functional teams to deliver strong performance and work together effectively. Builds diverse, effective teams reflective of the markets we operate in.

Qualifications
  • Experienced commercial finance leader within commercial/FMCG business environment
  • 10+ years of Commercial experience with the majority gained in RGM leadership roles)
  • Demonstrative experience in both Global and Market roles
