Based in Bergheim (Salzburg), the Center of Excellence for Quality Management plays a pivotal role in driving global quality standards across the PALFINGER Group. Combining innovation, digitalization, and process excellence, the department ensures the implementation of efficient systems and leads strategic quality initiatives that shape the future of the organization.

• Lead and develop the COE Quality team with a focus on training, support, and global performance
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards through audits, risk analysis and system monitorings
• Drive the continuous improvement and digitalization of quality standards, processes as well as tools
• Establish specialized teams to optimize supplier reimbursements and standardize FMEA, Control Plans and PPAP processes across the product lifecycle
• Manage the Quality Leader initiative, ensuring effective KPI tracking, transparent reporting, and alignment with the strategic objectives of the Palfinger Group

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Quality Management (Six Sigma and Quality Manager certification beneficial)
• At least 5 years experience in quality assurance or planning in manufacturing with responsibility for leading teams of up to 20 people
• Proficient in quality tools like PPAP, FMEA, MSA, DOE and software such as Minitab, SAP-Q, Polyworks with strong analytical skills
• Hands-on and solution-driven leader with strong execution and lateral leadership skills experienced in driving cross-functional initiatives across the organization
• Fluent in English and German with intercultural competence and global team experience, willing to travel up to 30%

Minimum yearly gross salary according to Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 65.432,36 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conform overpayment.
