Head of Financial Reporting opportunity for a Qualified Accountant in Peterbrorough

Head of Financial Reporting - Hybrid (Peterborough)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and qualified Head of Financial Reporting to join a dynamic organisation based in Peterborough. This hybrid role requires presence in the office two days per week and offers the chance to lead a talented team while driving excellence in financial reporting.

• Lead and manage a team of four finance professionals
• Report directly to the Group Financial Controller
• Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Manage year-end processes and liaise effectively with external auditors
• Ensure adherence to SORP and VAT regulations
• Deliver clear and insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making

Requirements:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
• Proven technical expertise in financial reporting, SORP, VAT, and audit processes
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders

Working Arrangement:

• Hybrid working model: 2 days per week in the Peterborough office
