Head of Financial Planning & Analysis

Overview

Morgan Hunt are pleased to be working with a large, multi-site Public Sector organisation, based in East Kent, to support them in the recruitment of a Head of Financial Planning and Analysis on a temporary to permanent basis.

Responsibilities

• Line management of a small team, including development and training.
• Provide excellent financial advice and guidance to business areas to ensure optimal performance.
• Oversee the preparation of the monthly management accounts.
• Lead on the production of budgets and forecasts.
• Support the wider finance team with the year-end processing and production of the financial statements.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with a background in audit and commercial finance. Experience of managing a team is essential as is proven experience of production of monthly management accounts with commentary and analytical reviews, budgeting and forecasting for an organisation with more than a £10m income.

Contract and Start

Our client is looking for someone to start as soon as possible and will consider a temporary to permanent contract or a permanent contract.
