Swim England based in Loughborough is seeking a Head of Finance Partnering to join their team on a fixed-term contract basis. Maternity Cover - Fixed-Term Contract - Minimum of 3x Days a Week Onsite - 35 Hours a Week (Mon-Fri).
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and collaborative Head of Finance Partnering to join us on a maternity-cover basis, leading a team of three and overseeing Swim England's core finance partnering activity. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, management accounts and financial reporting, working closely with budget holders and senior stakeholders to improve financial understanding, accountability and decision making. A key priority will be helping to embed Oracle NetSuite, improving reporting and identifying opportunities to streamline our month end processes.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, manage and develop a team of three Finance Partners.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, management accounts and month-end.
- Provide financial insight, guidance and constructive challenge to budget holders.
- Support the Finance Director with financial modelling, analysis and reporting.
- Oversee financial reporting for externally funded programmes.
- Help embed Oracle NetSuite and support the adoption of new processes.
- Improve financial reporting, controls and ways of working.
- Significant management accounting, budgeting and forecasting experience.
- Proven experience partnering with non finance stakeholders and senior managers.
- Confidence managing, supervising or developing finance colleagues.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, or substantial equivalent experience.
- Experience using Oracle NetSuite or a comparable ERP system.
- Experience within a grant funded, charitable, public sector or sporting organisation.
- Experience supporting externally funded programmes and improving finance processes.
