Your responsibilities as Head of Finance & Insurance Compliance

• Lead the development, delivery and continuous improvement of the finance and insurance audit and compliance framework
• Ensure regulatory requirements are implemented consistently across all relevant business functions
• Provide expert advice and guidance to senior stakeholders on regulatory obligations, conduct risk and emerging issues
• Oversee compliance monitoring, reporting, risk identification and escalation activities
• Manage regulatory submissions, notifications, applications and governance reporting requirements
• Support business transformation and operational change programmes by embedding regulatory best practice

What we're looking for in a Head of Finance & Insurance Compliance

• Extensive experience operating within an FCA-regulated environment, ideally covering consumer credit and general insurance
• Strong knowledge of FCA regulations, Consumer Duty requirements and regulatory governance frameworks
• Previous experience leading compliance functions and delivering complex regulatory projects
• Proven ability to develop policies, procedures, management information and regulatory reporting
• Experience working with senior leadership teams, governance committees and regulatory bodies
