Head of Finance

We're looking for a Head of Finance (Technical) for our public sector client based in Ipswich on a permanent basis paying £63,092 - £67,853 per annum.

This role offers hybrid working with a minimum of 1 day per week onsite.

The successful Head of Finance (Technical) will possess proven skills working with the following -

• Statutory accounting and financial reporting
• Treasury management and financial compliance
• Production and closure of annual accounts
• Liaison with external auditors
• Financial governance and risk management
• Leading technical finance teams
• Strategic financial planning and advice
• Knowledge of relevant financial legislation and standards
• Stakeholder engagement with senior leadership and committees

You will ideally hold a recognised finance qualification such as CIPFA, ACCA, or CIMA, with experience in a local government or public sector environment being highly desirable.
