Head of Finance

As Head of Finance (m/f/d) you will play a key role in the European finance team and report directly to the management. You will act as a sparring partner for external shareholders and internal stakeholders, be responsible for complex financial models and ensure transparency and control of financial performance.

Your tasks:

• Maintaining and further developing complex financial models in close coordination with external shareholders and internal financial processes (incl. Forecasts, business plans and scenario analyses)
• Preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and performance of ad hoc evaluations for European management and investors
• Development of long-term financial forecasts to support the strategic management of European business activities
• Active cash flow and liquidity management, with a focus on efficient capital deployment and sustainable financing
• Coordination and preparation of investor and board presentations, including financial and non-financial key figures
• Continuous monitoring of company performance, projects and M&A activities, with the derivation of strategic recommendations for action
• Close collaboration with internal interfaces such as FP&A, Treasury and Tax to implement the overall financial strategy in Europe
• Building and maintaining resilient relationships with internal stakeholders and external capital providers

Your profile:

• Degree in economics with a focus on finance or a comparable qualification
• At least 8 years of management experience in finance - ideally in a dynamic environment such as IT consulting, professional services or technology-driven organisations
• Sound knowledge and experience with international standards such as US GAAP
• Proven understanding of business valuation and the practical application of valuation concepts
• Excellent skills in financial modelling (especially with Excel) and in dealing with complex financial structures, forecasts and cash flow analyses
• Experience in the preparation and presentation of financial reports for external stakeholders, investors and committees (e.g. board meetings)
• Structured and entrepreneurial personality with strong analytical skills
• Strong initiative, teamwork skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel in a dynamic, international environment
• CFA certification or comparable further training is an advantage, but not a requirement
