Head of External Reporting

Job Title: Technical Finance Leader

You will provide technical finance leadership for the Group, working closely with stakeholders from FP&A, Tax, Treasury front office, Investor Relations, Communications, and Legal teams. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with technical accounting standards and Group accounting policies while considering the commercial realities of the business.

1. Overall project management of the production of the financial statements sections of the Interim Results and Preliminary Announcement, together with the Annual Report and Accounts and Form 20-F filed with the SEC.
2. Managing the external audit process and relationships with key stakeholders.
3. Providing thought leadership on key technical accounting judgments and ensuring the development and integrity of the Group accounting policies, in compliance with IFRS and other relevant legislation.
4. Playing a key role in ESG reporting.
5. Responsibility for the back-office Treasury team.
6. Ensuring the design and effective operation of the 'Group' SOX controls.
7. Managing and developing the Group Financial Reporting team (5 direct/indirect reports) and the back-office Treasury team.
Requirements:

• ACA / ACCA qualified accountant with significant experience working on a FTSE 100 / 250 audit, followed by experience in the Group Finance team of a FTSE 100/250 company.
• Experience of SEC reporting.
• Experience working on SOX controls.
• Experience leading or managing a back-office Treasury team (preferred).
