About the roleAs Head of Enterprise Data Management, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening how data is managed, governed and trusted across the organisation. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will set the strategic direction for data management and data quality, ensuring data assets are reliable, well-controlled and deliver meaningful business value. This is a highly influential leadership role, combining strategic vision with practical delivery to support long-term organisational objectives.
In this, you will lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the organisation's data management and data quality strategy, ensuring alignment with broader business goals. You will establish and embed robust governance frameworks, chairing and guiding senior data forums to drive accountability, manage risk and promote enterprise-wide consistency.
A key part of the role involves developing and maintaining a clear, prioritised roadmap spanning people, process and technology, enabling sustainable delivery of data capabilities over time. You will work collaboratively with architecture, technology, delivery and change teams to ensure data management best practice is embedded into programmes and transformation activity.
Alongside this, you will oversee the creation of trusted, self-service data assets and performance measures that support accurate reporting and insight. As a people leader, you will motivate, coach and develop a diverse team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and professional growth, while managing resources and third-party partners effectively.
This role is hybrid, based in our Head Office in Tiddington, Stratford-Upon-Avon.
About youYou are an experienced data leader with a strong track record of delivering enterprise-wide data management and data quality initiatives. You bring a strategic mindset, balanced with the ability to translate vision into practical, measurable outcomes. Comfortable operating at senior levels, you build credibility quickly and influence with clarity, using insight and evidence to shape decisions. You value inclusive leadership and create environments where people feel supported, challenged and able to do their best work. With a solid technical foundation, you are equally adept at navigating complexity, leading change and communicating with impact across diverse audiences.
In addition, you must also demonstrate experience of:
- Data strategy and enterprise data management
- Data governance and quality frameworks
- Stakeholder engagement and influence
- People leadership and team development
- Change leadership and prioritisation
