Head of Engineering Requirements:

1. Lead technical development (remote teams)
2. Identify opportunities to bring development in-house
3. Oversee SDLC
4. Drive and deliver projects
5. Manage product delivery
6. Collaborate with client services, operations, and executive teams

Head of Engineering Skills, Experience, and Traits:

1. 3+ years of high-performing engineering team management
2. Proven coaching, mentoring, and leadership skills
3. Building and scaling engineering teams
4. Independent contribution and happy to write high-quality code
5. Outsourced/offshore management
6. Obsessed by data protection, privacy, and security
7. Mobile app development, web app development, platform development
8. Early stage/start-up experience
9. TypeScript, React/React Native, NodeJS, Postgres, and AWS
10. DevOps best practices
