We are seeking aHead of EVI Programme Management Office (PMO) to play a pivotal role in supporting the Executive, leadership, and management teams. You will lead Trust-wide change initiatives designed to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our services, ultimately benefiting both patients and staff.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will play a pivotal leadership role in driving the success of the Efficiency, Value, and Improvement (EVI) PMO by supporting and facilitating multiple high-priority programmes and projects simultaneously.

They will ensure that all initiatives are delivered at pace while embedding sustainable change across the Trust. Operating with significant autonomy, the post holder will act as a key partner to the Executive Directors, senior clinicians, operational managers, and a range of internal and external stakeholders. Their ability to influence and lead at all levels of the Trust will be critical to the success of this role.

Person specification Qualifications
  • Educated to Masters level or equivalent.
  • Evidence of formal training in coaching techniques.
  • Relevant portfolio, project and / or programme management qualifications such as P30, MSP, Prince2, at Practitioner level with current CPD.
Experience
  • Experience of working across Trust and professional boundaries to achieve common goals
  • Experience of delivering transformational, sustainable improvement into Operational Business Units, Divisions, Localities, regional teams.
  • Experience of applying structured Cost Improvement Programme management processes.
  • Previous experience on a Health Service major project within a provider environment.
  • Running a financial grip and control programme for a trust in deficit.
Skills
  • Ability to coach colleagues at all levels to improve Trust capability.
  • Ability to plan and implement a project from conception through to completion, writing and editing Trustwide PIDs.
  • Ability to write and present accurate and concise reports to various groups at all levels and to use them to influence others at decision making levels.
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Knowledge
  • Strong understanding of and commitment to the values and goals of the Trust making sure that the patient is at the heart of all we do.
