Head of Data Governance

Summer-Browning Associates are currently supporting our client within the central government, who are seeking a Interim Head of Data Governance on an initial 18 month assignment.

Location: Exeter (hybrid)

About the role:
You will be responsible for the implementation of the Data Strategy and implement the necessary governance required for effective design and delivery of the client's products and services.

The ideal candidate will hold Active SC clearance and have a proven background in Head of Data Governance, along with the following qualifications:

Skills and Experience:

• Experience of setting up data governance policies, frameworks and standards, and ensure monitoring of adherence to these.
• Experience of providing strategic oversight of data governance throughout the organisation.
• Knowledge of leading the development and implementation of assurance processes and set up reporting to the Data Governance Group.
