Head of Data & Analytics Governance & Reporting

Data and analytics is an important enabler for the UK Business' strategy and in achieving its' outcomes. This role sits within the UK Chief Data and Analytics Office (CDAO) function. The UK CDAO function is responsible for data risk and control management, delivering the data platform strategy, delivering data and analytics products and AI for the UK Business.
In this fantastic new role, you will be accountable for leading the Data Governance and Reporting team to collaboratively across all lines of business & infrastructure functions to ensure our data risk, control & issue profile is measured, monitored and reported clearly and accurately. You will also review assurance activities to ensure best practice is adopted across the organisation, in line with global data standards.
In this role, you will:- Work closely and briefing the UK CDAO on governance matters and materials
- Collate and share papers, updates and meeting materials
- Track remediation delivery
- Lead the facilitation of stakeholder engagement, including logistics and timing
- Respond to requests for information from UK & Group stakeholders
- Advise the UK CDAO on all governance matters:
- Review material controls testing
- Lead discussions with 1LoD and 2LoD assurance teams
- Conduct internal and external research
- Review Governance Papers up to Board level
- Review meeting packs for governance forums
- Establish, review, and maintain forum terms of reference
- Support the delivery of monthly working groups
- Manage the creation, reporting, tracking and closure of issues and actions
- Conduct continuous monitoring and assurance on control effectiveness
- Conduct regulatory horizon scanning and impact analysis

This role can be based in Sheffield, Birmingham or Edinburgh on a hybrid basis.
