Job Description

• Manage and oversee Boards and Board processes while maintaining strong engagement at Board level.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance policies and legal frameworks.
• Provide expert advice on data protection (GDPR) and competition law matters.
• Develop and implement compliance monitoring programmes and risk management strategies.
• Lead investigations and ensure resolution of compliance breaches.
• Prepare and deliver compliance training for employees and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with legal and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to all relevant standards.
• Regularly update and report on compliance performance to the Board and senior leadership.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Goverance and compliance should have:

• Strong experience in managing Boards and Board processes.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and legal compliance frameworks.
• Proven expertise in data protection (GDPR) and competition law.
• The ability to engage with senior leadership and regulatory bodies effectively.
• Experience in delivering compliance training and developing monitoring programmes.
• A strong understanding of risk management practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Competitive salary ranging from £95,000 to £110,000 per annum.
