We're looking for a charismatic and dynamic leader to step into the role of Head of Communications, bringing big ideas, a bold personality, and contagious enthusiasm to our communications strategy. You'll be the voice that connects our people with the heart of our business, leading communications platforms and the flow of information to keep our teams informed, engaged, and inspired, while maintaining our external image and reputation.
Your role spans internal and external strategic comms planning, content creation, and execution - ensuring seamless communications that align with our brand tone and voice. This role also has accountability for our main internal business events including Leadership Conferences and our external Public Relations.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute a bold, creative internal communications strategy that aligns with our vision, values, and evolving goals.
- Deliver an external communications strategy that includes PR and Thought Leadership, identifying market opportunities, elevating spokespeople, managing reputational risk.
- Lead the creation of engaging content across internal channels (newsletters, videos, intranet, live events) to tell the company story.
- Drive initiatives that energize colleagues, amplify culture, and foster a sense of community and belonging.
- Be a visible, approachable leader who connects with colleagues at all levels with personality, passion, and authenticity.
- Continuously explore fresh approaches to communication, leveraging new tools and trends to keep messaging dynamic.
- Inspire and lead creative communications, cultivating collaboration, excellence, and high energy.
- Advise leadership during times of change, ensuring clear, empathetic communication to guide employees through transitions.
- Lead communication efforts during crises with confidence and clarity, keeping stakeholders well-informed and supported.
- Use metrics and feedback to assess impact and continuously improve engagement and effectiveness.
- Create and manage our event calendar, ensuring events are engaging, well communicated, and within budget.
- Help manage and improve internal communication channels and processes (intranet, CMS, email, videos, workshops, social media, events) alongside line-manager and Exec communications.
Being responsible for managing the company's intranet and collaborating with colleagues to build a calendar of key business-wide communications.

- Experienced Organiser: highly organized with a track record of managing multiple projects, including large-scale conferences and events.
- Brand Champion: understands brand tone and voice; comfortable creating on-brand templates and materials.
- Tech-Savvy: proficient with digital tools and internal channels, with experience implementing new digital signage or similar solutions.
- Strategic Mind: ability to align communications strategies with business objectives.
- Natural Leader: capable of captivating and inspiring diverse audiences.
- Enthusiasm: thrives in a fast-paced environment with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Adaptable: comfortable with change and able to pivot to evolving needs.
- Experience: relevant experience in a communications role with demonstrated success in designing, delivering, and measuring communications; end-to-end event planning and delivery; insurance experience is a necessity.
London office, 50/50 hybrid.
