Head of Commercial Finance

Location: South Yorkshire (Hybrid)

Salary: £90,000 - £110,000

Elevation are excited to be partnering with a fast-growing, private equity backed services business in South Yorkshire to appoint a Head of Commercial Finance.

This is a pivotal role in a business that has scaled quickly and continues to evolve. Finance is at the centre of that journey, and they are looking for someone who can bridge the gap between numbers and decision making.

You'll lead the commercial finance function, working closely with senior stakeholders to drive performance, challenge assumptions and improve visibility across the business. This is about getting under the skin of revenue, margins and customer behaviour, not just reporting what's already happened.

There is already a solid FP&A base in place, but the opportunity here is to elevate it. You'll refine reporting, build more meaningful insight and help shape strategy as the business continues to grow.

This role will suit someone who enjoys being close to the action, influencing stakeholders and driving change in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial finance function and collaborate with senior stakeholders to drive performance.
• Challenge assumptions and improve visibility across the business.
• Conduct deep analysis of revenue, margins and customer behaviour, beyond reporting.
• Refine reporting frameworks, build meaningful insights, and support strategic decision making.
• Influence stakeholders and drive change in a fast paced environment.
