Yellow is the architectural lighting brand of Aron Light, focused on developing high-performance lighting solutions for architectural projects.

The brand aims to serve architects, lighting designers and engineering consultants with technically advanced luminaires designed for professional applications.

We are looking for a Head of Architectural Lighting to lead the development of the brand's product portfolio and support architectural specification.

Role Overview

This role combines product development, lighting design expertise and project specification.

You will be responsible for defining the architectural product portfolio and building relationships with architects, lighting designers and project consultants.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Development

• Define the architectural product roadmap for the Yellow brand
• Lead the development of new lighting products
• Define technical specifications including optics, packages, CCT and accessories
• Collaborate with design, engineering and manufacturing partners

Architectural Specification

• Engage with architects, lighting designers and consultants
• Support project discussions and lighting concepts
• Provide technical lighting guidance for architectural applications
• Present the brand and products to design studios

Brand & Portfolio Development

• Structure the architectural product catalogue
• Ensure high-quality technical documentation (datasheets, photometrics, application guides)
• Support the positioning of Yellow as a professional architectural lighting brand

Profile

Experience

• Experience in architectural lighting
• Background in one of the following:
• lighting design studio
• architectural lighting manufacturer
• lighting specification role

Technical Knowledge

Strong understanding of:

• optics and photometrics
• Lighting Design
• lighting applications in architecture

Skills

• Strong communication with architects and designers
• Product development mindset
• Strategic thinking
• Ability to translate design needs into technical solutions

Location

Carnaxide , Portugal (hybrid possible)
