Head of Accounting and Tax

This forward thinking firm works with clients across diverse sectors, delivering expertise in compliance, governance, and finance. In this leadership position, you will:

• Guide and inspire a high performing team, setting the vision for a key division.
• Oversee financial reporting, tax compliance, and operational excellence.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, fostering strong relationships and supporting business development.
• Play a pivotal role in shaping commercial strategy and driving process improvements.

We're seeking someone who brings:

• A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• At least 7 years' post qualification experience, ideally within practice.
• Proven leadership experience managing teams of 10 or more.
• Strong technical expertise across accounting, VAT, payroll, and tax compliance.
• Commercial insight and a client focused approach.
• Excellent communication skills and a solutions driven mindset.
