Head of Accounting / Director Accounting(m/f/d)

You will take care of the proper accounting and preparation of financial reports. You will also have the opportunity to design new processes and further digitalize our accounting.

As Head of Accounting / Director Accounting, you are responsible for our entire financial accounting and ensure that financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB), tax issues and internal processes are designed reliably and sustainably. You will combine strategic vision with a real hands-on mentality: you will lend a hand, post in DATEV and prepare monthly financial statements, while at the same time leading, motivating and developing your team. You will also have the opportunity to design new processes and help shape our company.

Your new role at Zenfulfillment is more than just numbers: You will take responsibility for our financial accounting and put HGB financial statements, taxes and processes on a strong foundation. For us, hands-on means that you will be directly involved by posting in DATEV yourself, preparing monthly financial statements and setting a good example for your team. Your tasks:

• Responsible for proper record keeping and preparation of financial reports.
• Making payments and using accounting software.
• Continuous further development of the department in the direction of digitalization.
• Ensure tax compliance.
• Management of budgeting and financial planning.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management.

Your experience:

• Successfully completed commercial training.
• At least 3 years of accounting experience and experience in a management position.
• Competence in DATEV (FIBU) and MS Office programs.
• Structured, independent and responsible approach to work, combined with reliability, high attention to detail, flexibility, strong organizational and communication skills, assertiveness and quick comprehension.
• Entrepreneurial drive and willingness to take responsibility.
• Very good knowledge of German and English, written and oral.
• Knowledge of German tax law.
