  • Mon to Fri
  • Hybrid role - home based with travel across the multi site Account, focusing on Glasgow, Blantyre and North West of England
  • Salary plus choice of car or cash allowance, 10% bonus and healthcare policy


Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are looking to develop our engineering resource on a major Corporate & Utilities Account following an internal promotion, by recruiting a Technical Lead to come in and act as "Head of Engineering" across the Account


This is a high profile account, where we provide Hard and Soft services across the customer's national Estate, which consists of corporate offices and depot facilities


Here, reporting to the Account Director, you would be responsible for the crafting and delivery of Engineering strategy spanning M&E, Building Fabric and Small Projects.


You would line manage the Engineering Supervisors, and report to the customer to ensure smooth engineering delivery


This is a fantastic role for an established technical lead to develop their leadership career by taking control of an entire, multi site, national engineering function


Actions will include:

  • Responsible for the contract management of the staff, operation and maintenance of all electrical and mechanical plants/services, project works and Building performance.
  • Daily management of the Engineering team including compliance with ISS disciplinary processes and procedures.
  • To conduct regular reviews of operating procedures making recommendations for improvement with appropriate working practices and emergency/contingency procedures within the critical systems.
  • Development of contract financial plans for revenue and profit delivery, reduction of WIP, debt, cost reduction and contract growth, and ensure that these are met and exceeded.
  • Provide a learning environment, and appropriate training and development planning. Ensure basic training needs are delivered, employees are fully competent to undertake their roles, and are able to reach their full future potential.

We need from you:

  • Electrical and/or Mechanical qualifications plus extensive leadership experience with client facing ability
