Job Title: Head Chef

As a Head Chef, you are solely responsible for the successful running of the kitchen and are in a position of high responsibility within the operation. You must always carry yourself in a professional manner as you are key to the success of the business.

Your tasks will include (but are not necessarily limited to) the efficient and successful running of the kitchen in line with company procedures.

You will need to control rotas, ordering, stock, allergens, menus, and team management.

Be involved with the production and service of all food leaving the kitchen.

Take an active role in the recruitment and training of all chefs in the kitchen.

Be a positive influence on others.

Liaise well with the General Manager and FOH team to create a cohesive working environment.

Interact well with customers.

Ensure the kitchen is kept to the highest standards of cleanliness, and organize deliveries.

Have exceptional knowledge of and adhere to all health and safety and food safety practices.

Always be an ambassador for the business and work to the highest standards.
