Head Chef - London - 70k-75k

MONDAY-FRIDAY

I am recruiting for a Head Chef for a flagship events catering contract in London however this is not a typical Head Chef role, you will have full culinary ownership - shaping menus, leading teams, managing operations and ensuring consistency and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop full time and casual kitchen teams
• Create and deliver menus
• Manage all food procurement, stock control and waste reduction
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best quality produce at best market value
• Operate consistently within agreed budgets and due diligence frameworks
• Ensure quality, consistency and compliance across all kitchen production
• Uphold Food Safety and Health & Safety standards
• Manage rotas, hours, holidays and cover
• Control kitchen costs without compromising guest experience
• Lead regular team meetings and briefings
• Invest passionately in the training, mentoring, and progression of your team

Qualifications

All candidates applying for this Head Chef role must have been in a similar role within the last year.
