This role involves providing waking night cover in a residential house in Mansfield Grove. Role Details:

• Location: Mansfield Grove, Athy, Co. Kildare
• Shift times: 20:00 to 08:00
• Schedule: 7 nights per week (ongoing, long term requirement)
• Start date: ASAP
• No driving required
• SAM and MAPA training desirable but not required
• Walking distance from Athy railway station (applicants should consider train schedules)

Requirements:

• QQI Level 5 Qualification in Healthcare Support or equivalent
• All vaccinations: Hepatitis B, MMR, Tuberculosis and Varicella
• Resident in Ireland and hold one of the following: EU passport or valid GNIB permission (Stamp 1G, 2, 4, 4D, 5, or 4 EUFam)
• Willing to undergo Garda Vetting
• International Police Clearance if you have lived outside Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care to service users, including feeding, washing, and dressing
• Monitor and support individuals throughout the night
• Report any notable activities or incidents to the person in charge
• Provide emotional support and reassurance
• Assist with maintaining a safe and comfortable environment
