Hardware Engineer

Job Title: Hardware Engineer
Location: Brentwood, UK
Job Type: Full-time contract, 6 months, with potential extension
Work Model: Hybrid (4 days onsite)
Key Skills:
Strong understanding of schematics and PCB layout designs
RF knowledge (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, including testing)
Familiarity with communication interfaces (DDR, SPI, I²C)
Proficient in using test and measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analysers, multimeters)
Experience with engineering software (Altium, LTSpice, terminal programs)
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Must-Haves:
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Hands-on experience with hardware test and verification
Competence in documenting and presenting test results
Nice-to-Haves:
Python or other Scripting experience for automation
RF knowledge (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth)
Prior experience in consumer electronics or TV product development
Experience:
Previous hardware engineering experience in a product development environment
Familiarity with cross-functional collaboration (software engineering, project management)
Comfortable supporting test activities both on-site and off-site
AI Integration:
Exposure to or interest in AI-driven test automation and data analysis would be advantageous.
