About the Role

Trinamics is looking for a Hardware Engineer to join a multidisciplinary development team at an international high-tech organization based in Deventer. The team is responsible for the design and development of control units for advanced heating appliances. This role focuses on the design, simulation, verification, and integration testing of hardware products. PCB layouting is not part of this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, simulate, and verify analog and mixed-signal electronics
• Develop and test electronic systems, ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards
• Define and document design requirements and solutions
• Select components and create schematics (including simulations)
• Support integration testing and EMC problem-solving
• Actively contribute to process and product improvements
• Collaborate with international engineering teams in a dynamic Agile environment

Your Profile

• Academic degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
• At least 10 years of relevant experience as a hardware engineer
• Strong communication skills and a hands-on, solution-oriented mindset
• Experience with analog or mixed-signal design, power electronics, and display technologies
• Familiar with design verification, integration testing, and EMC troubleshooting
• Independent, pro-active, and results-driven
• Strong analytical thinking with a high focus on quality and cost awareness
• Comfortable working in internationally distributed teams (NL, DE, PT, IN)
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); Dutch is a plus
