Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a Hair & Beauty Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school in Kettering. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or industry professional looking to share their knowledge and passion for Hair & Beauty with young people.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, supporting students with their practical development and helping them build the skills and confidence needed for future careers in the industry.

• Planning and delivering engaging Hair & Beauty lessons
• Teaching both practical and theoretical elements of the curriculum
• Supporting students with their practical skills and development
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Assessing and monitoring student progress
• Encouraging students to develop their confidence and independence
• Maintaining high standards of behaviour and engagement
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to support student achievement

• Passionate about Hair & Beauty and education
• Confident delivering practical and theory-based lessons
• Able to build positive relationships with young people
• Creative, enthusiastic and engaging
• Organised and able to plan effective lessons
• A qualified teacher or experienced Hair & Beauty professional with relevant teaching experience
• QTS is desirable, but candidates with strong industry experience and a relevant teaching qualification or experience will also be considered.
