Haematology Consultant Needed, West Midlands, 6 Months

Overview

On behalf of the hospital in West Midlands we are looking for an experienced Haematology Consultant available for 6 months.

Responsibilities

• 4 clinics a week
• 1 admin session
• 1 lab session
• 1 session forward and cancer MDT sessions
• 1 ward session
• 2 sessions for - prescribing/admin/daytime on call
• The general job plan is for 3 weeks out of 4. In the fourth week, clinics are cancelled to allow ward and inpatient duties.

Location and terms

• Town-based hospital with all local amenities nearby
• Local accommodation can be arranged
• Negotiable pay terms depending on experience & credentials
• Oncall ratio, 1 in 5
• Consultation with the lead can be arranged to discuss requirements & eventual limitations
