Job Description
Drainline is seeking a motivated and skilled HGV Driver (Gully Truck)/operative to work on our Highways contract based out of Glastonbury, Somerset.

Working Monday to Friday as part of a two-man team, your role will be to drive to attend different job sites to investigate, unblock and clean highways drainage across the county using our new jetting/combination unit. Experience in high pressure water jetting operation is desirable, but training can be provided to the right candidate. A NRSWA qualification would also be advantageous.
You'll take pride in your work and deliver it to a high standard whilst following all necessary health and safety policies, have a positive can-do attitude, be able to adhere to time constraints and deadlines, have excellent communication and timekeeping skills and be able to work as part of a team. To take care of the equipment and keep the vehicle clean and presentable.
As part of the role, there will also be times where you may need to carry out different work within the business, for example driving and operating our gully emptier vehicle.
There is also opportunity for overtime and 24 hour callout/out of hours work.

Qualifications and Skills:
2 years HGV experiences over 25
Previous experience operating gulley trucks or similar vehicles preferred but full training given.
Excellent driving skills with a strong emphasis on safety and adherence to traffic laws.
Good knowledge of road networks and local routes.
Ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and minor repairs.
Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
