Job Description
Job Overview

Hampton by Hilton Newcastle is recruiting a part time Hotel Reception / Guest Service Assistant.

Hours: 24 hours per week (mix of 8 hr and 12 hr shifts). Shifts: 2 or 3 shifts per week (plus overtime opportunities). Salary: £13.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Working across all departments of the hotel including reception, bar & kitchen.
  • Checking guests in/out.
  • Managing bills & payments.
  • Helping guests & creating positive experiences.
  • Prepare and serve food from a limited simple menu.
  • Serving alcohol, soft drinks, hot drinks & snacks.
  • Follow all food safety, licensing and health and safety policies to work safely.
Essential Attributes - Hamptonality
  • Great energy and a can do attitude.
  • Great team player, and you love chatting with guests.
  • Skilled multitasker who can balance hard work with great service.
  • Clear communicator fluent in English (and other languages a plus!)
Useful Experience
  • Hotel reception or similar experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of hotel reservation systems.
  • Knowledge of Food Safety & Licensing laws.
